Awesome Space Footage.

If you've heard, a dad and his son launched a weather balloon into space and attached to it was an HD video camera. To track it, they used an iPhone and some GPS equipment. To read the full story and watch the footage, go to the following link.

Random Fact of the Day Failed.

Sorry, but I haven't been able to keep with up with the new thing I came up that's called Random Fact of the Day. I'll still update, but not as much as I wanted to. I don't have enough time.

5 Dollar Bill Secrets...

So, I was looking at the 5 dollar bill and I noticed something pretty cool on the Lincoln Memorial. Check out what I found with these photos I took from my mom's iPhone 4. Look closely and you'll see the names of states on the borders of the Lincoln Memorial. If its not big enough, grab your own 5 dollar bill, look at the Lincoln Memorial, and look at the borders. You'll see.

Random Fact of the Day!

I'm going to be posting daily, or as often as I can random but interesting facts that no one really cares about. It will be posted at the top of my website right under the name of the website. Anyways, check daily because there's going to be a new one as soon as possible. Also, if you miss one you can always check at the right, there will be a link called Pages where I will be entering all of the facts for the past days/weeks. However, note that will get full at one point so after a month I'm going to be deleting the posts for the past month. But besides that, keep coming here.

New iPad?

Well, a new iPad like device is coming out soon. It's called a BlackPad. What does it do? Everything the iPad can do... and possibly more. Some pros it has are, a camera, Bluetooth connections, and maybe more. Well who knows? The official description of what we know is at the following link. http://finance.yahoo.com/family-home/article/110783/rim-readies-its-answer-to-ipad

I think there is one more new tablet coming out. I'm not sure if it's the BlackPad or different, but anyways I watched a short video on it and it's better than both of those devices. The reason is because you have a front touchscreen as the iPad and the BlackPad, but you can flip it open to reveal a full keyboard which is like a mini laptop, however it's more portable and has a stronger battery life. The price however, must be high, but it is much better than the iPad, and the BlackPad.

Math Sucks.

Anybody out there hate math as much as I do? Well look here, I'm good at it but I hate it terribly. It's the stupidest, dumbest, hardest, annoyingest (I just made up a word!), stupidest, and dumbest subject in school. So, for this year I jumped from last year's math two grades ahead instead of two since I passed this really easy test I took at the end of last year. The reason I hate math is because it's just a bunch of stupid numbers I don't care about. It's also hard as heck to understand. Since I skipped two grades of math, I am watching my math teacher tell us things that I've never really even heard of. The thing that gets me the most though is that everyone else in my math period seems to understand it perfectly and it looks like I'm the only one scratching his head saying, "What the heck?". I get a good deal of homework every night, and I take one look at it and want to tear the whole thing up. It's just something I don't understand. So, anyways, do you hate math? If not what's your least favorite subject?

Boredom...

Have you ever had those days where you're miserably bored and you want to cry because you're so bored? Well it happens to me... almost every day. Not so terrible though that I want to cry, but I do get bored. Well, now that I'm starting school again, I kinda' have to limit electronics because for the past two weeks I've constantly been on them so I have to get off. If you have any ideas, you can post a comment (by the way you don't need an account to post a comment). So, some ideas I have are drawing, homework, and well that's it for now. But I'll surely think of more stuff. I've started making videos more often too and I'm starting a new series on my YouTube account called "What to Do on an Ordinary Day" or something, so check it out. It's basically just me showing you my room. There's also a secret video which you can only access by watching that video (even though the secret video is just me fooling around). If you have a YouTube account, please SUBSCRIBE to mine!!! Anyways, thanks for reading this, and please keep to this blog. I'll stick to it, and keep updating with many feeds. :)

Tragic Day.

As most you probably know, yesterday was a sad day, as it was 9/11. 9/11 was a sad event that was depressing to the nation. Even though I wasn't very old when it happened, as I grew older I started understanding what it was and why it was such a sad event. There were so many people killed, and effected by some terrible terrorists who just wanted to prove a point. Random thought: why do terrorists take out their anger on innocent people who did nothing to harm them? I know that question is probably a stupid one, but someone needs to answer it. The thing that I'm proud of is that nobody tries to get back at them because that would just create madness and start World War 3. Wait a second, didn't George Bush already do that?

Some depressing pictures from 9/11. (WARNING: DISTURBING IMAGES. IF YOU ARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO TAKE THEM, THEN I'D SUGGEST NOT LOOKING AT THEM. http://news.yahoo.com/nphotos/Iconic-Images-Sept-11-Attacks-/ss/events/us/090910sept11iconic#photoViewer=/ydownload_ap/20100909/photos_net_ap_ts/1284065940

Apple Meeting!

As many of you know, a few days back, Apple had a convention where they unveiled some new Apple products. You may or may not know it, but I LOVE Apple. Usually. Well, this year I was pretty impressed with what they came up with. The first new product they introduced was a new version of the Apple TV which allows you to rent from the largest selection of HD movies (or as they say), watch Netflix, and stream photos and music from your computer to your TV. The second product is the new iPod Shuffle which is basically the same except that it has five buttons (fast foward, rewind, play/pause, volume up, volume down) and a clip that can attach to clothing. It also has VoiceOver which says what song you are listening to since you have no control. The third product is the new smaller, square, touchscreen iPod nano. It like the Shuffle can clip on, and isn't as good as a regular iPod Nano (I think) but i t's TouchScreen which I love. The third (and my favorite) product is the new iPod Touch with the new retina display and best of all, two cameras front and back. It also has an A4 chip which gives you a better gaming experience. Also, with a new thing called GameCenter, you can play with people all over the world. They also introduced a new social network called Ping where you can discuss music, and follow your favorite artists. To me, it kind of reminds me of Facebook since you can post updates, but still it looks pretty cool.
I'm hoping to get the new iPod Touch but I know that I probably won't since I already have the old iPod Touch. Anyways, here are the links to all the detailed info and how to buy the products I just told you about.

First Day of School!

So, yesterday was my first day of school, but I didn't post this because when I came home, I was super tired, and watched ten minutes of TV, and fell asleep around the fifteen minute mark. So let me get back to school. I started middle school yesterday, and it's mostly what I expected. Some 8th and 7th graders who think they're cooler than everybody else, the newcomers who just started (that's me), the people who don't know what they're doing, the groups of girls gathering around talking trying to act all cool like in the movies, and a whole bunch of other groups. So see, no one person is really the same as another. Let me tell you the pros and cons of middle school.

PROS:
1. There's much more time to socialize, and be independent.
2. The library is much bigger than my previous school library, so you can sit back and read a book, or stress over some unfinished homework.
3. The whole school has free Wi-Fi, even though the only thing you're allowed to use is a Mackbook, and some people say that the school can track what websites you go to (by the way you're not allowed to go to YouTube, or Facebook).
4. The days seem like they pass super quickly.
5. In the cafeteria, you're allowed to choose whatever food you want whatever day you want as oppose to having a set menu for every day of the week.

CONS:
1. You have long periods, then 4 minutes to switch from one period to another, so you have to run, if one period is far from the next. That 4 minutes doesn't allow you to have a quick snack, use the restroom, or get a drink of water. It should be extended to 5 or 6 minutes.
2. Even though the bathrooms and water fountains are bad at all schools, I'm just gonna' say, people misuse the bathrooms, and the water fountains have warm water that doesn't taste good.
3. Lunch is expensive. An example is- one slice of pizza would be $3.
4. Usually the kids are all spread out in different periods, so it's pretty rare that friends will be in many of your classes.
5. All the kids who think they're so cool aren't. I haven't seen any bullies lately, but some kids where these tight jeans, with these stupid shirts and chains and straight hats, and they try and be all cool. How do I know that they're trying to be cool? Because of the way they dress and act.

So, that's been my experience so far at middle school. I've liked it so far, there's only one period I don't like. Language Arts. And, math. Make that two periods. And... well, never mind.

Auto-Tuning and Other Problems with Today's Music

Well, if you've noticed, then music these days isn't what it used to be. Of course, by the last ten years, it'a lot in music has changed. Pop and rap has been brought out a lot more, and nowadays that's the most popular music. Artists like Ke$ha, T-Pain, and Kanye West are just a few artists that I find use WAY too much auto-tune. If you don't know what auto-tune is, it's basically a device that makes your voice sound much different than what it would be without auto-tune. Still don't understand? Auto-tune bends your voice so in some ways you sound like a robot (in Kanye West's situation). But auto-tune is used so much because after using auto-tuning, then the song becomes super catchy, and I have to agree, most of these songs are on my iPod. I mean I like these songs, but it kinda' shows, that without auto-tune, these artists would be nothing. I mean they wouldn't be famous. Another problem with music is that so many artists make these stupid songs with no meaning, and the lyrics of some of these songs just have no meaning whatsoever. In Ke$ha's song Tik Tok she notes a couple seconds into the song that she brushes her teeth with Jack every morning. Jack Daniels is a type of whiskey, and if you really use your head (note of sarcasm) then you can make out that brushing your teeth with alcohol isn't really the best idea. That line in the song, is probably what makes it so popular besides its catchy tune. So, do you know what I mean by some songs have no meaning at all? Lots of this music is actually catchy, but that's what auto-tune does. It's kind of like a hypnotizer to make people like the song. So, I'm not super against this auto-tune idea, but I'm against songs that make no sense, or have no meaning.

My YouTube Channel

If you don't already know, I have a YouTube account where I post many videos of me doing a lot of stuff. In some, I'm playing guitar, or piano, while in others I'm playing with magnetic stars. However, I haven't been making as many YouTube videos as I would like so if you want, leave a comment below of something I could do for a video. If it's a good idea, then I will make a video, and if you want, I'll say your name in the beginning or end of the video. I haven't been getting as many ideas as I used to. So please leave a comment below, and I'll reply to you as soon as possible. Thanks.

School's Back!

If you haven't already noticed, and you're too caught up in summer, then you should open your eyes and accept that school is starting soon. For me, it's starts this Wednesday, and I'm starting middle school. If I actually look back, summer seemed like it was only like two weeks. Here are my thoughts on school starting again.
I have to say, my summer was not so productive. I was hoping to get a lot of videos posted on my YouTube channel (BunkerDudes) but really, no ideas sparked. I thought for a long time but no fire was created in my head. What I'm hoping is during the school year, I'm probably going to have more videos since during the school year, I'm more active and productive. That means I'm going to get more ideas for YouTube videos. If you don't know, I'm obsessed with making YouTube videos, but my only problem is that usually I don't know what to post on YouTube. So, I've got like 15 videos but really I'm just doing this stupid stuff because I'm bored. So if you are a frequent watcher of my YouTube then good news, since I'm getting more videos on my channel. However, if you haven't seen any of my YouTube videos, then click on the link below and it'll take you to my channel.

So what do you think of summer coming to an end? Leave a comment on this video saying your thoughts. I might even reply!

Friday the 13th

Almost everyone in the USA knows the famous... or should I say infamous Friday the 13th. If you don't know what Friday the 13th is, then let me tell you. Friday the 13th is known as an unlucky day to most, and 21 million people in the USA believe in it. Me, myself, I don't really believe in it, but one bad thing happened to me today. Well not to me, but I caused it. So I'm on vacation in Virginia, and I was in my cousin's basement, when I accidentally leaned on a mirror and cracked it. For those who don't know, cracking a mirror means 7 years of bad luck for me. So I'll be looking out for 7 years of bad luck. What I don't understand is why I don't believe in Friday the 13th but I believe in 7 years of bad luck for cracking a mirror. Well, that's life. If you've experienced bad luck on a Friday the 13th, then comment down below. I might choose a good comment and post it in an upcoming blog. Till next post, see ya!

Xbox 360 Kinect, and Playstation Move?

You may or may not have heard of the new upcoming video game console add ons, Xbox 360 Kinect and Playstation Move. If not, here's a link to what they are. Check them out first, and then read what I have to say about them.

So I'm basically going to talk about these two new systems. Basically, you just move around instead of playing on a controller. When you think about these two devices, then what other video game console do you think about? Probably Wii, right? Well, I do. Why? Because these two systems might be ripping off the Wii. Not completely though. I mean they do have their own creative and original ideas, but I bet if the Wii never came out, then they wouldn't have made these. These video game companies should stick to their own original ideas. I'm not saying that these new products won't be fun, I mean they probably will be, but they should stick to controllers and let the Wii be. Let Nintendo continue making Wii games, that's where they are doing well, but Xbox 360 and the Playstation should just focus on controller games. All companies have to be original after all, right?
